Let's stop waiting for the messiah and build ourselves as a true civil society! This is what Goran Blagoev, journalist and historian, called for in the program "12+3":
"The Bulgarian resurrection depends on ourselves, there is no one to hope for except God - from the point of view of faith! The Bulgaria that we want to be settled, ordered, without corruption, depends on us. If we send the lumpen that we see in parliament again, and in the next elections, we will have to dream of the Bulgarian resurrection".
According to the journalist, in consumerist times, religion is also becoming a type of consumption, but not of spiritual food:
"What we see in recent years - after the changes, is a consumer faith, consuming rituals and meals, rather than active faith. Let's think about how many of us have taken care of a lonely or poor person during these holidays. We miss the human attitude - as an expression of faith - very much".
Pope Francis brought humanity back to religion and may his successor continue his work, said Blagoev in connection with the death of the head of the Roman Catholic Church, who, in his words, is an indisputable Christian leader.
