A portion of horse mackerel with fries is offered for 21.90 leva in a restaurant in the Old Town of Nessebar, dariknews.bg reported.
Due to the good weather and the series of weekends, the seaside town was filled with tourists. Although the official opening of the summer season is after May 15, it is already evident that in many places the prices are higher than last year.
A media check found that the prices of horse mackerel vary between 14.50 and 22 leva. The Shopska salad also shows differences — in the old town, included in the UNESCO list, can be found for 8.50 lv., and for over 12-13 lv.
A seafood salad costs a little over 25 lv., and a combination menu with a doner, french fries and a soft drink costs 20 lv. The same combination with a hamburger instead of a doner is cheaper — about 14-15 lv.
Fish soup in many places exceeds 10 lv. and can be found for 12 to 15 lv. in the Old Town. A slice of pizza is sold for 5 lv. — the same is the price of draft beer.
Coffee and cappuccino are offered at prices between 2.50 and 5 lv., depending on the establishment and the brand of coffee.
If after the "salty" meal you decide to have a sweet treat, prepare 3.30 lv. for a scoop of ice cream. A pancake with jam costs 8 lv., and with chocolate — 9 lv. The children's favorite waffles are offered for 12.99 lv.
