Former Bayern (Munich) coach Niko Kovacs is among the candidates to take over the English football club Liverpool after the departure of Jurgen Klopp in the summer, reports the Daily Mail, quoted by BTA.
The Croatian is free after leaving Germany's Wolfsburg earlier in the season. The Daily Mail claims that representatives of Kovacs were recently in England and held meetings with some Premier League clubs.
Kovach, 52, won the German Cup with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018. He did the double with Bayern in 2018, then was at Monaco between 2020 and 2022.
According to the Daily Mail, clubs from Germany are also interested in Kovacs.
