Georgian sports shooter Nino Salukvadze competes in her tenth Olympiad, equaling the record for this indicator, BTA reported.
Salukvadze started in the 10m air pistol qualifiers at the Paris Olympics, finishing 38th and tying the record of Canadian equestrian Ian Miller, who last competed at the 2012 Games, who also has ten participation in the Olympic Games.
Salukvadze is 55 years old and has competed in the Olympics non-stop since 1988. She won gold in the 25m pistol, silver in the 10m at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a bronze medal in the 10m. The Olympic vice-champion from Tokyo 2020, Antoineta Kostadinova, who ranked 16th, also participated in the discipline.
