First in the under-25 classification of this year's Tour de France Remco Evenepool ( Belgium) is not impressed by the uneven roads that the cyclists have to travel in the time trial today at the Games in the French capital Paris, BTA reported.
Evenepool, third overall in the Tour de France, described the first and last five kilometers of the course as bad, with the situation made worse by the rain.
"The road surface is quite bad at the beginning and the end, so it can be a problem if you have black spots in front of your eyes in the last kilometers. It's not pleasant," commented the Belgian.
Remko Evenepool is the reigning World Time Trial Champion and won the first of two such trials during the Tour de France.
Olympic champion in the individual time trial in road cycling from Tokyo in 2021 is Slovenian Primož Roglic.
