Borussia (Dortmund) officially announced the signing of the German national player Pascal Gross from Brighton, reported sportal.bg.

“The Yellow-Black” will pay for the 33-year-old midfielder around 7 million euros plus possible bonuses, and the footballer himself has signed until the summer of 2026.

Thus, Borussia has strengthened itself with another German international, having previously also brought in Stuttgart central defender Waldemar Anton. The club also took another Swabian player - their leading scorer Seru Girasi.

“I am really looking forward to coming to Borussia. For me, this transfer is just a huge thing because I've been a Dortmund fan since I was little. I will try to repay the club's trust with the way I play and I can't wait to play at “Signal Iduna Park” with my new teammates in front of the Borussia (Dortmund) fans and to work together with everyone to achieve our big goals”, said Gross himself.

The midfielder has experience in the Bundesliga, where he played for Ingolstadt, Hoffenheim and Karlsruhe. Gross moved to Brighton in 2017, making 261 appearances for the English club with 32 goals and 52 assists. There are 8 matches and 1 goal for the national team.

Meanwhile, Borussia (Dortmund) will not stop with incoming transfers, with Manchester City right-back Jan Coutou expected to pass a medical tomorrow.
