The ruling party leader of South Korea's civilian leader Han Dong-hun said he and Prime Minister Han Duk-soo would minimize the chaos of the "early and orderly departure" of President Yoon Seok-yeol, Yonhap news agency reported.
„We will minimize the chaos that can affect the people and the country through the early and organized departure of the president, stabilize the political situation and restore democracy,” said the politician.
Han Dong-hoon noted that according to citizens, President Yoon Seok-yeol will not be able to properly govern the country for the rest of his term and should resign.
The party leader added that the president will not participate in state affairs, including international relations.
