In addition to the initially captured North Koreans, there is no doubt that more will be captured in the future. It is a matter of time and soon the Ukrainian troops will be able to detain additional soldiers, Zelensky stressed.
Zelensky: Russia dependent on North Korea's military assistance
In his statement, Zelensky stressed that there is no longer any doubt about the dependence of the Russian army on North Korea's military support. According to him, while at the beginning of the conflict, President Putin was issuing ultimatums to NATO and trying to rewrite history, now he cannot continue without Pyongyang's help.
Options for North Korean soldiers who do not want to return
Zelensky added that there will be alternatives for North Korean soldiers who do not want to return to their homeland. Those who express a desire to help achieve peace and spread the truth about the Korean War will have the opportunity to do so.
Zelensky confirmed that Ukraine is ready to cooperate with international partners to carry out a prisoner exchange with North Korea.
