Only Russia and the US should participate in talks to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said in an interview with the "Komsomolskaya Pravda" newspaper, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"I believe that the talks on Ukraine should be held between Russia and the US without the participation of other Western countries. There is nothing to talk about with London and Brussels," said Patrushev, who is Russian President Vladimir Putin's top security adviser.
This position reflects an emphasis on bilateral dialogue with Washington, ignoring other Western allies.
