Electrohold group companies received four awards in the 14th edition of the national contest “Greenest companies in Bulgaria 2024“, organized by b2b Media. Over 130 projects competed for the prestigious awards.
Electrohold Bulgaria took the first places in the categories “Sustainable policies” and “Leader in Green Investment“ with its campaign to replace the paper electricity invoice with an electronic one and the promotion of digital services. The electronic invoice provides an opportunity for each user to contribute to the protection of the environment by reducing the use of paper and saving natural and energy resources necessary for its production – wood, water, oxygen, electricity, as well as means and fuels used to deliver it to a certain address. By stopping the paper invoice, Electrohold saves 7,020 trees from cutting every year, which provide oxygen for a family of four for 12 months. The removal of the paper invoice is in line with the long-term ESG strategy of the Electrohold Group to promote sustainable and ethical practices to protect the environment by reducing the use of resources.
The largest electricity distribution company in Bulgaria - ERM Zapad, which manages the electricity distribution network in Western Bulgaria, won the prize for the greenest company in the category “Energy and water sector” with its overall environmental policy.
Electrohold Sales received third place for “Green Technology” with its new product for turnkey construction of photovoltaic systems for own consumption. More about the product can be found at: https://electrohold.bg /bg/sales/aktualno/kampanii/fotovoltaichna-instalaciya-za-vashiya-dom/.
