Over 180 representatives of the tourism industry from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will get to know the Bulgarian tourist product at a three-day forum "Experience Bulgaria" (Erlebe Bulgarien), which starts today in k.k. Sunny Beach, BTA reported.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" JSC and the Association of incoming agencies in the country (AIA), the department announced.
The goal of the organizers is to promote our country as a tourist destination among representatives of the three countries, which are among the largest and most important markets for the development of tourism in Bulgaria, the Ministry states.
The most popular and authoritative tourism media in Germany participated in the organization of the forum – fvw|TravelTalk, which is also one of the key media partners of the Ministry of Tourism for the German market. With their assistance, professionals from the tourism sector will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves in detail with the advantages that the Bulgarian Black Sea coast offers to its guests: the conditions for recreation, the cultural and historical heritage in the region, the opportunities for spa and wellness, the opportunities to practice various sports, as well and with the authentic local cuisine, interpreted through the modernist currents of world cuisine.
Within the framework of the forum, there will be numerous meetings, as well as a specialized conference on June 6, from 9:30 a.m., in the "Sol Nessebar Resort" complex, moderated by Klaus Hildebrandt (editor-in-chief of fvw|TravelTalk) and Dirk Rogl (Travel Commerce), which is expected to be attended by the Acting Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev. There will be a workshop for representatives of travel agencies, tours around some of the most beautiful corners of the Southern Black Sea coast, as well as visits and events at some of the best hotels in the region.
The event is part of the marketing strategy of the Ministry of Tourism, which aims to strengthen the image of Bulgaria as a destination with excellent opportunities for summer tourism. The ministry believes that joint efforts between the public and private sectors increase the chances of attracting more tourists to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, making the country a preferred choice for summer tourism in Europe, the tourism department said.
