The euro fell to a one-month low in Asian trading today, Reuters reported.
This came after French President Emmanuel Macron called early parliamentary elections following the heavy loss of his far-right liberal party in the country's European Parliament elections.
Political uncertainty had a negative impact on the common European currency, whose exchange rate decreased by 0.25 percent to a level of 1.07735 dollars per 1 euro.
