The first house of the Bulgarian rose will open its doors this summer in Madrid. This is a way to popularize the symbol of Bulgaria – the rose. A similar home is about to be opened in Barcelona. Looking for a building and the opening of the “House of the Rose” and in Sofia, it became clear during the “Spanish Evening” held in the capital, the highlight of which was the celebration of the ties between the two countries in the field of tourism.
The former Minister of Tourism Zaritsa Dinkova also spoke about the plans for the development of tourism between Bulgaria and Spain.
The mayor of Kazanlak also outlined the prospects for the development of the tourism sector between our country and the Spanish country. “In the 17th century, a rose "Damascene" arrived in the Balkans and settled in our lands, where he found good soil, good weather and a lot of love. From then until today, the Valley of Roses, centered in Kazanlak, has been growing, protecting and enjoying the Queen of Roses. From the 18th century, our ancestors began to create Bulgarian liquid gold - the best and highest quality rose oil, which achieves the highest honors at exhibitions all over the world," said Stoyanova
The official guest of the event was the world-famous Spanish designer Agata Ruiz de la Prada.
