The level of income from gold investments worldwide has increased 8-fold since the late 2000s, Japanese business reports Newspaper Nikkei.
It is noted that the growth of income from investments in gold has exceeded the growth of income from investments in securities of the US stock market - this figure has grown only 6 times since the late 2000s. It should be noted that the level of income from investments in securities in the world as a whole during the same period has doubled.
The publication notes that global inflation, deteriorating financial conditions, as well as the unstable geopolitical situation in the world lead to the fact that the influence of the dollar is weakening and gold is becoming an increasingly attractive “non-state currency” for long-term investments.
