I hope there will be a leadership meeting between GERB-SDS and PP this week - DB. This is what he said in “The day begins with Georgi Lyubenov“ on BNT the MP from PP-DB Ivaylo Mirchev.
Ivaylo Mirchev from PP-DB also commented on the invitation made in a telephone conversation by Raya Nazaryan to Nadezhda Yordanova to form legal teams to negotiate.
„ Mrs. Nazaryan's request for a meeting should be after a leadership meeting, for which we issued an invitation and GERB refused. I hope there will be such a meeting this week. It is good for it to be as open as possible, for it to be clear what is being said”, said Ivaylo Mirchev from PP-DB.
He gave an example and why it is right to have a leadership meeting first and then a legal one:
"If you buy an apartment, you don't go to the notary first, but contact the seller of the apartment, negotiate a price and then go to fix the legal things. It's the same here. First, there should be a leadership meeting, to see if there is support for our declaration, and if there is, the easiest thing is to see the legal teams”, explained Ivaylo Mirchev from PP-DB.
He explained that in the letter to PP-DB Boyko Borisov signed that he would not form a coalition with Delyan Peevski.
"We did not ask if he would form a coalition with Peevski, he wrote that. He has not formally allied with him so far. These are classic political maneuvers that are familiar in the army. In the army, such smokes are usually released, 10 minutes pass, the smoke dissipates and we go to elections. This is more or less what Borisov is trying to do at the moment. He has signed that he will not form a coalition with Peevski, and we are asking him if we will make a “sanitary cordon around Peevski”, stated Ivaylo Mirchev.
He categorically stated that there is no tension in the PP-DB coalition.
