Borisov and Peevski understand each other only by sight, even they don't need to talk. The whole country is talking about the story between them. He said this in an interview for "More from the day" the political scientist Slavi Vassilev.
The host counters that just because everyone is talking about it doesn't necessarily mean it's a fact or true. Vassilev responded to this in the following way: "When a person gets to the point where he has the facts, he usually cannot say them publicly because it would compromise a number of other people. I assure you it is. I, Prof. Stoyanov and others know or have partial information about this tandem. He is real, not made up. The power with which these people rule the country is felt even without being in the National Assembly.
"There is hardly any logic behind a parliament not being able to elect a president for such a long time. I wouldn't be so sure that Assoc. Kiselova will be the next acting prime minister. No one can say what the head of state will do, but it is better that he has a choice," the political scientist also commented.
Prof. Rosen Stoyanov summarized the situation in the parliament in recent weeks: "They tried to humiliate parliamentarism and they succeeded. They got to a point where they did something, and so what? The political parties on the right made this choice possible. These once political forces have later become just brands and another badge on someone else's lapel.
