United Left” Tasko Ermenkov in the studio of “On Focus”.
According to him, there was a purposeful action to “blow up” of the situation in the parliament. “In my opinion, this is being done with the aim of going to new elections”, Ermenkov also said.
„No matter how unconstitutional the signing of the sanitary cordon declaration sounds, one of the conditions is to do everything possible for a normal election of the chief prosecutor,” said the deputy.
Ermenkov explained that “BSP-United Left” is to change the rules by which the Prosecutor General has been elected so far, in order to make this election public. “If we want to live in a normal society, we must keep the laws in the parliament”, he declared.
„In this parliament, the only coalitions that can be made are coalitions of right-wing parties. From “BSP-United Left” we cannot support a coalition, but we can participate in talks about a supra-party government with 4-5 priorities related to the welfare of Bulgarians. These are the income, medical assistance, education and the judicial system”, explained Ermenkov.
According to him, Bulgaria must restore institutionalism and therefore it is mandatory to have a relationship between the Speaker of the National Assembly and the President of the country.
