In the first days of the new year 2025, fuel prices in Bulgaria have increased again. The most significant increase is in the price of diesel, which reached 2.60 leva per liter in large gas station chains, bTV summarized.
Mass gasoline A95 has also increased, currently trading at prices between 2.57-2.58 leva per liter at large retailers. At smaller gas stations, the price is around 2.39 leva, which makes a difference of approximately 20 stotinki.
Experts link the increase to the permanent retention of oil quotes above 75 dollars per barrel. Despite the price increase, Bulgaria maintains its position as the country with the most affordable fuels in the European Union.
