Kolyo Kolev: It doesn't look like the end of the negotiations to me - 1

We haven't yet put an end to the first term. We see a lack of reactions from the participants in the negotiation process. Probably some talks are being held in a non-public environment. This was said by political scientist Assoc. Prof. Milen Lyubenov in "Denyat ON AIR".
According to him, the approach should be different, especially in the environment created in recent months and the escalation of political tension.

"With this announcement yesterday, GERB is stopping the talks at this stage", reminded Assoc. Prof. Lyubenov.

The negotiations are not over
Sociologist Kolyo Kolev pointed out that the GERB party has made a lot of compromises, among them the ceding of the chairmanship of the National Assembly.
"It doesn't look like the end of the negotiations to me, but rather like the bargaining entering a more intense phase. It is crystal clear to the two main political formations that they cannot do without each other. GERB cannot form a government without "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB). PP-DB also cannot form a government without GERB. They must either play together or throw the country into early elections,", the sociologist further analyzed to Bulgaria ON AIR.

Assoc. Prof. Lyubenov sees a real experience in the last month, since the attitudes of the parties - BSP and DB, were in favor of reaching an agreement.

"Bulgarian politics in recent years has always been punctuated with a similar course of action", added the political scientist.

Does the choice of prosecutor general affect
"Both Boyko Borisov and Sarafov are symbolic victims. What does it matter whether it will be Sarafov or Marafov, if you have not changed the principles of functioning of this system. Some convenient victims are being sought", commented Kolev.

There are certain dependencies in this system that have been reproduced over the years, emphasized Assoc. Prof. Lyubenov: "A bigger problem is how to untangle this web of dependencies".

"The world is a very worrying place right now," said Kolev.

Assoc. Prof. Lyubenov predicts that President Rumen Radev will hand over the first mandate to GERB at the end of the week, and according to Kolev, this could happen at the beginning of next week at the latest.
