Ninova: Look at the facts - so far, every party that has embraced Borisov has become a political corpse - 1

“VAT on bread must be abolished. Absolutely. We did it at the time and this helped keep bread from becoming more expensive. A loaf of ordinary white bread cannot cost 4 leva! And here I raise the question of speculation – with this increase in price, all control bodies must be on their toes“.
This was stated by Cornelia Ninova in the show “Workdays“ on "Eurocom" TV.
According to her, the fact that the state does not have an adopted budget for 2025 is a big problem. “Unlike Kiselova, I think there is a problem. Because all the state's policies are concentrated in one budget“, Ninova pointed out.
In the economic conversation about the responsibility of the state, Ninova said: “Not everything in life is a market and not everything in politics is a market – there are areas in which there should be state policy and regulation, especially in such areas as healthcare, education, social policy. Let there be a free market economy, but there are sectors that should be state property – such as the ERP, the railways“.
She was categorical that in order for pensioners to live with dignity, we must look at the economy and working people, and take action: “The economic crisis is intensifying – it is not only in our country, it is also in Germany and in Europe, more and more jobs are being closed, and we are interconnected economies. "Industrial production is going down," Ninova pointed out, recalling that during her time as Minister of Economy, thanks to her active work, Bulgaria came first in Europe for the first time in industrial production and added: "And now the only thing that supports the economy is consumption. With these prices up, it will collapse. That's why I say - we need actions, measures, a specific economic plan, especially for small and medium-sized businesses, for family businesses. And not squabbles over positions."
Kornelia Ninova described the failure of the negotiations to form a government as expected. "This parliament and these deputies are the result of some fake elections - nothing else could have been expected from them. The negotiations were conducted in the dark. Thirdly - people whose work until yesterday was to fight the "GERB" model, today sat at the same table with GERB. People whose job was to reform the judiciary sat on Peevski's lap. All this time we heard nothing about the price of electricity, gas, or bread, we didn't hear them say: Measures are needed, the ERPs should become state-owned, so that there is control and care for the people. There is no information coming out about them fighting over who is the prime minister. They went on vacation and left the people in the cold and dark for 20 days. We found out that they are sharing posts and money and have no thought for the people," commented Kornelia Ninova. "And look at the facts - so far, every party that has embraced Borisov has become a political corpse."
And more from the political conversation and negotiations over the past month: “It's not just about the BSP, it's about collective betrayal of all left-wing people. What did over 20 left-wing parties unite for? To sell themselves in a package to Borisov for a bigger discount? And instead of one, to have two ministerial chairs“, asked Cornelia Ninova, referring to the new leadership of the BSP. According to her, it is not those who are seen at the negotiating table, but other people, elsewhere, who make the decisions. “This is what I call behind the scenes and the deep state“.
“We have officially registered the name of the national Movement “Unruly Bulgaria“, which will grow into a party. I hope to fill with content the symbolism of the eagle, our logo, which from ancient times, from the Aztecs, Persians, Greeks and Romans to the present day, embodies wisdom, strength, spiritual beginning“, announced Cornelia Ninova, emphasizing that the new party will be positioned in the center-left, will be popular, with an eye on the values of the Bulgarian family, the protection of children from gender ideology and gender reassignment, with a clear economic program and social program.
“One of our goals is for people to see in us the real alternative – not only the active ones, but also those who do not vote. To see that, as before - I do not sell people, I do not betray ideas, that I am consistent, I stand for principles, regardless of temptations and the situation. And most importantly – "that we are a team of honest people who do not view politics as a business for personal gain, but as work for the benefit of the people," Ninova pointed out.
