Will a cabinet with the first term with Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov receive support? The topic on the air of “Hello, Bulgaria” was commented on by journalist Vesselin Stoynev and political analyst Kristian Shkvarek.
“We are rather heading towards elections. A minority government option is also possible. The option for a quadruple coalition is slipping away. First, an agreement had to be reached on the form of this government, but personnel issues arose again and the Prosecutor General turned out to be a stumbling block,” said Stoynev. According to him, it is possible that Borislav Sarafov will drop out of the race and one of his deputies will take the position of prosecutor number 1. The journalist believes that a new beginning can be made in political terms if a coalition is formed that will begin to implement reforms, such as replacing the Supreme Judicial Council.
Shkvarek believes that GERB has a constant “fixation” on forming a cabinet with “Democratic Bulgaria”. The analyst is of the opinion that “in Bulgaria it could be different – without corruption, with the rule of law, if suddenly, magically the Bulgarian people evolve and transform into Swedish, Danish or German ones”.

Shkvarek also pointed out that if we go to elections, the situation will be the same as now, but with the participation of “Majesty”. Stoynev said that if there were to be a new vote, “GERB and PP-DB would be losers”.
