GERB-SDF demand the resignation of the deputy mayor for transport in the capital Iliyan Pavlov, BNT reported.
According to them, a report by Dimitar Petrov, who is an employee in the municipal administration, contains data on violations, financial abuses and corrupt practices.
The GERB-SDF group claims that this report makes it clear that there is concealment of information by the Transport Commission and the SOS, after the introduction of the illegal organization on "Patriarch Evtimiy" Blvd.
"This is about pressure on the organization of "Patriarch", "Vitoshka" and "Nansen" to happen despite the opinions of experts in the Sofia Municipality. Awarding public procurement contracts worth around 60 thousand leva including VAT for organizing traffic around schools and kindergartens, even though this could have been done for 1000 leva and cost the Sofia Municipality many times less," said Anton Hekimyan, GERB-SDF.
"PP-DB-Spasi Sofia" defined the allegations as a denunciation. According to them, GERB is actively sabotaging every positive process for the city. Mayor Vasil Terziev has formed an internal commission to verify the data specified in the report.
"What they did by citing a denunciation against Iliyan Pavlov, Deputy Mayor for Transport, is that they exposed themselves. They exposed themselves that their buttons continue to be installed in the Sofia administration and pressed at the right moment. "For absolutely every single accusation, we have categorical evidence that the accusation is groundless," said Boris Bonev, PP-DB-SS.
