Prof. Konstantinov: Radev, Borisov and Peevski are the only strong ones in the country - 1

„I believe that electronic devices that scan ballots should not be introduced. The idea has been implemented in the Russian Federation, this is how the Russian government is elected. Including President Vladimir Putin was elected this way".

This was stated by mathematician Prof. Mikhail Konstantinov in a comment to NOVA NEWS.

"The problem would be fundamentally solved by introducing tablets in each polling station, with which voters could identify themselves with a fingerprint. They are already available when issuing identity documents, he commented.

According to him, over the past four years, the deputies have done everything possible to compromise the Constitution and the electoral laws.

„Nobody believes in elections anymore, if someone believed in the Constitution, they no longer believe in it,” added Prof. Konstantinov.

„If a civil servant is responsible for each section, 12,000 civil servants must be elected. Currently, Bulgarians abroad vote by sending a representative of the state from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and he is responsible for the electoral process in the section,” he pointed out.

According to Prof. Konstantinov, when it comes time for elections, the deputies start changing the electoral rules, but this is not how an electoral system can be formed.

„Currently, there are three strong men in Bulgaria – President Rumen Radev, GERB leader Boyko Borisov and the leader of “DPS-New Beginning” Delyan Peevski. In the next elections, it is very likely that ”DPS-New Beginning” will be the second political force,” the mathematician added.
