About a curious case with drunk drivers in Nessebar the Ministry of Internal Affairs-Burgas reported, quoted by Nova TV. At around 03:15, officers from the regional administration stopped for inspection a passenger car with Burgas registration, driven by a 27-year-old man from the Pomorie village of Galabets. The uniformed officers found that he was driving after consuming alcohol with a concentration of 0.94 per mille. A report was drawn up and his driver's license, the car's registration card and both license plates were removed.
The driver was explained that the car could be transported within 12 hours of the violation by a driver who had not consumed alcohol or drugs.
About 40 minutes later, however, at 4 o'clock, in the Nessebar neighborhood “Chaika“ the police noticed the same car moving winding along the roadway. It was stopped again for inspection. It was found that the driver this time was a 30-year-old man, but again drunk. The driver got behind the wheel with an alcohol concentration of 2.20 per mille.
The driver was detained with a warrant for up to 24 hours. The car was seized. A fast-track procedure has been initiated in the case.
