We currently have a government of disgrace, disastrous decisions are coming for Bulgaria.
This was stated to BNT by the deputy chairman of "Vazrazhdane" Tsoncho Ganev.
"There is no way that a government and a coalition of sustainable development can prioritize - first, entering the eurozone, second - continuing and guaranteeing the territorial integrity of Ukraine, given that the world is changing. As we saw the other day, the man who will head the US State Department said during his hearing in Congress that Ukraine must come to terms and that it will never regain these territories. Against this background, our Euro-Atlantics are making completely different demands. Secondly, entering the eurozone is economic genocide for us," said Tsoncho Ganev.
"These priorities of this government show that it is badly conceived, because these parties that are inside, in the person of the ITN and the BSP, have crossed out everything that they have been fighting for for years."
Regarding entering the eurozone, Ganev gave the example of Croatia and stated that they have twice as much inflation as in Bulgaria and a threefold greater decline in industrial production.
According to him, the introduction of a zero VAT rate on mass bread, which is bought by the poorest Bulgarians, will cost the state 94 million leva, which in his words "is nothing for the state."
