A regular government is of utmost importance for our country, we promised stability to our structures and voters and we are working precisely for this. This is what GERB leader Boyko Borisov wrote on Facebook.
“The state must tighten its grip for at least a year so that we can fix the deficits. Each of the parties in the ruling majority holds on to its priorities, but GERB has clearly said that we will not back down from pensions, people's incomes and the program for the renovation of apartment blocks“, Borisov emphasized during a meeting with representatives of GERB - Ruse in the city of Dve Mogili.
It was attended by the regional coordinator of the party Plamen Nunev, the mayor of Byala Dimitar Slavov, the mayor of Ivanovo Georgi Milanov, the mayor of Borovo Valentin Panayotov, the chairman of the Municipal Council of Tsenovo Georgi Georgiev, as well as municipal councilors and mayors of small settlements in the region.
Borisov is categorical that GERB will not take the blame for the PP-DB and Assen Vassilev for the poor financial condition of the state.
“Things in the field of finance are not rosy at all, some of the party's best experts are currently working, they are making constant efforts. The Eurozone remains a priority and the government will request a convergence report, but I will not allow the Ministry of Finance to report figures to Brussels that are not true“, the GERB leader also said.
