„BSP - United Left“ will have deputy ministers in three departments in the cabinet „Zhelyazkov“. This was confirmed to bTV by the Deputy Prime Minister from the left and interim chairman of the BSP Atanas Zafirov.
We are talking about the ministries of agriculture and food, ecology and internal affairs.
Zafirov also said that some of the deputy ministers were appointed on Friday, and from the BSP this is Filip Popov, who will be in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The remaining names are to be announced on Monday.
From the BSP quota in the governing coalition (GERB-SDF, „BSP – United Left“ and „There is such a people“) there is one deputy prime minister and four ministers.
The deputy prime minister without portfolio is Atanas Zafirov, who is the acting chairman of the BSP.
Ivan Ivanov is the Minister of Regional Development, he was the former Minister of Agriculture in the Petkov cabinet.
Borislav Gutsanov is the Minister of Social Affairs, Manol Genov – Minister of Ecology, and Ivan Peshev – of Sports. Peshev was a municipal councilor in the Sofia Municipality from the BSP quota for Bulgaria.
