Milan and Roma ended in a 1-1 draw in one of the derbies of the 18th round of Serie A, with the match being full of tension and missed opportunities in front of both goals.
Milan took the lead in the 16th minute after a beautifully constructed attack. Yusuf Fofana passed to Alvaro Morata, who returned the ball to him, and Fofana found Tijjani Reinders in the penalty area, where the Dutchman unpreparedly checked Svilar for 1-0.
Two minutes later, Milan missed doubling their lead. A quick counterattack found Alex Jimenez, who passed to Alvaro Morata in an advantageous position, but the Spaniard shot inaccurately.

After the draw, Milan remains in eighth position with 27 points, while Roma is tenth with 20 points.
