Slavia lost to Hungarian Vasas (Budapest) in Turkey - 1

Slavia began the series of friendly matches in the Turkish resort of Side with a 1:3 defeat to Hungarian second division Vasas (Budapest). Ivan Minchev scored for the "Whites" after adding a penalty he missed. The Hungarians, on the other hand, achieved success with two goals in the last 30 minutes.

Slavia's head coach Zlatomir Zagorcic gave a chance to all available players in the group, by fielding different lineups for each half.

The Hungarians opened the scoring in the 21st minute, when Rado Andras scored from a free kick. The ball was placed just in front of the arc, and the Hungarian footballer's shot was very accurate and despite the intervention of goalkeeper Nikolay Krastev, the ball stopped in the net.

7 minutes later, the referee awarded a penalty to Slavia, after the Nigerian defender of the Hungarians Kenneth Otigba brought down Jordan Varela in the penalty area. Ivan Minchev shot from the penalty spot, but goalkeeper Banfalvi saved. However, in the added time, the captain of Slavia equalized the score. By the end of the first half, both teams created two goal situations, with Karl Fabien missing the clearest for Slavia, and at the end of the half Ertan Tombak prevented Krastev from hitting the goal, clearing a corner kick.

In the first 15 minutes of the second half, the Hungarian team dominated, and in the 62nd minute they reached a second goal. After a good attack and battle in front of the penalty area, with a little luck the ball ended up in front of Csaba Molnar again, who coolly shot from 12 meters to the left post of the goal for 2:1.
In the last 20 minutes, Slavia's team transferred the game to Vasas' half, the “whites” controlled the ball, but in the last third there was no one to strike. In the 2nd minute of added time, Barnabas Rats scored a third goal with a shot into the lower right corner and made the final 3:1.
