Roma won a difficult 2-1 away win over Udinese in a match from the 22nd round of the Italian championship.
The hosts from Udine led at the break with a goal from Lorenzo Luca in the 38th minute, but Roma made a turnaround in the second half with two goals from penalties. Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini took the first penalty kick and converted it himself from the penalty spot for 1:1 in the 50th minute.
In the 64th minute, El Shaarawy was fouled in the penalty area and the referee awarded a second penalty, which Artem Dovbik converted into a goal and brought the victory to Roma.
This is the first victory for Roma as a guest since April, with the last success away for the Romans again without against Udinese with the same result 2:1.
The team from Udine has not won in 5 consecutive matches and with 26 points is in 11th place in Serie A, Roma is in 9th place with 30 points.
