At least three people were killed in an explosion at a warehouse near Naples today, ANSA reported. quoted by BTA.
At the moment it is not known how many people are missing after the explosion in the city of Herculaneum (in Italian Ercolano - note ed.) in the southern region of Campania.
According to the police, it is possible that fireworks were stored in the warehouse.
Ancient Herculaneum, like nearby Pompeii, was covered by lava after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.
