Russian forces are blackmailing Ukrainians living in the occupied territories to donate blood for the Russian army, Ukrinform reported citing a report of the Center for National Resistance.
„The invaders are blackmailing the Ukrainians, forcing them to become donors to the Kremlin's army. Another wave of forced blood donation for Russian soldiers among civil servants and socially vulnerable sections of the population in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In this way, the Russians are trying to “save“ the endless flow of wounded Russian invaders”, the report says.
The document notes that in occupied Mariupol, mandatory plans are being prepared for the number of blood donors among teachers, municipal employees and those who receive state “subsidies”. If people fail to follow the “plan”, they face the risk of having their payments cut off.
In the occupied parts of the Kherson region, public sector employees are systematically forced to donate blood. For this purpose, a mobile blood collection center is located in the regional centers.
Russian security forces in the occupied territories are also increasingly persecuting Ukrainians, detaining citizens on trumped-up charges of “terrorism”, Ukrinform adds.
