The Ukrainian Air Force announced that it had shot down five Russian ballistic missiles and 40 drones, with another 20 drones failing to reach their intended target, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
According to a statement from Kiev, a total of 65 drones were sent from the Russian side overnight.
The Ukrainian Air Force, quoted by Ukrinform, specified that 40 "Shahed" attack drones and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over territories such as Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Dnipro and Zaporizhia regions, as well as over the Russian Kursk region.
