North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his daughter Ju-e attended New Year celebrations in Pyongyang together, including fireworks and ice dancing demonstrations, North Korea's state news agency KCNA reported today, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
They were joined by senior North Korean officials, according to photos published by state media. There was no mention of whether Kim Jong-un delivered a speech.
Yesterday, KCNA reported that in a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kim said he would seek to strengthen the deep strategic partnership between Pyongyang and Moscow.
