The Slovak government is risking its political stability by expressing the opinion that military support for Ukraine is unnecessary and supporting concessions to the demands of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, quoted by Ukrinform and BTA.
„Slovak leaders are playing a very dangerous game. They will continue to do so until the war reaches their own homes,“ Zelensky warned.
He revealed that he had spoken to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico during a meeting with European leaders, adding that he had expected a different position from Slovakia.
When Prime Minister Fico noted that one must “understand where evil is and where not“, Zelensky replied that murderers like Putin cannot be forgiven.
