The Belgian court in Liege has ruled that citizen Frederic Baldan and about a thousand other people have no legal interest in taking legal action against European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. They complained about her behavior in the context of negotiations with vaccine manufacturer "Pfizer", quoted by BTA.
Reasons for the complaints and refusal of access to information
Baldan filed a claim in 2023 over the European Commission's refusal to provide communications between Von der Leyen and the head of "Pfizer" Albert Bourla. The Commission refused to release them, saying they were not official documents.
Campaign against the European Court of Justice's rulings
Baldan recently filed another request, but it was also rejected. In addition, last year the Court of Justice of the EU ruled that the European Commission had not provided sufficient information about the vaccine contracts.
