The Ukrainian army has carried out an operation with drones and caused damage to the "Primorsko-Akhtarsk" airport in the Krasnodar Territory. This was reported by the General Staff of Ukraine, which confirmed that the target was successfully hit.

"We confirm a hit and an explosion in the area of the target. A fire has occurred. The exact results are being specified," the Ukrainian military said in a statement.

The airport in the Krasnodar Territory is used to store, prepare and launch Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles into the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the airport is also used for the repair and maintenance of aircraft that perform combat missions in the regions of Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.

The General Staff of Ukraine indicates that strikes on objects that provide Russian armed aggression will continue.

This night, Russian Telegram channels reported strikes on the "Primorsko-Akhtarsk" airport.

Videos of a fire also appeared on social networks, probably in the area of the military airport.

Russian authorities have not commented on the attack. Last night, there were reports of another attack in the Krasnodar region and a fire that broke out on the territory of the refinery as a result of falling debris.

Reports about downed drones and the work of air defense were also made by the governor of the Rostov region, Yuliy Slyusar.

A drone attack was also reported from the Astrakhan region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense this morning reported a total of 28 drones that were shot down or neutralized. The largest number of drones were found over the waters of the Sea of Azov, eight of them were over the Rostov region, six over the Krasnodar region and one over the Astrakhan region.
