Official data on voter turnout in Varna all not yet. Both parliamentary and partial local elections are being held there today.
The situations in the sections are different – queues have formed in some, and in others there are no people willing to vote.
In each section there are two machines and four ballot boxes for submitting the ballots, because voting is done simultaneously for people's representatives and for regional mayors.
During the week, the CEC and RIC argued about the organization of the vote “2 in 1“ in the seaside town. The CEC requested that the sections be different for the two votes, but the RIC stated that this could not be done and therefore they divided the machines and ballot boxes according to the type of election, but it is exercised in the same section.
So far, no voting problems have been reported in Varna and the election day is going smoothly.
