The hypocrisy of the liberals shone again on the eve of the American elections. Against the background of the obviously better prospects of the conservative candidate Donald Trump, a strange Bulgarian connection once again highlights the bankruptcy of the Democrats' campaign. The Macedonian edition "Free Press" in recent weeks informed that Kamala Harris sent a significant message to the so-called A united Macedonian diaspora in the US, and that the “Macedonian American” Filip Zotevski was appointed as the head of ethnic relations in the Harris campaign.
The United Macedonian Diaspora is the lobby network funded by Skopje, which for years has been trying to promote some other than the Bulgarian “Macedonian“ migrant history. It is not by chance that Harris's letter cites the controversial “Macedonian-American Heritage Month” initiative. According to the document - if the Skopje edition and the boasts of Macedonianists are to be believed - Harris's office even refers to the Ilinden Uprising and the Balkan Wars. However, the historical facts indicate that the historical Macedonian immigration to the USA has been unequivocally Bulgarian in its ethnic consciousness for the last more than a century. The Macedonian patriotic organizations, which are its backbone, have only recently, after decades of Yugoslav effort, faced the problem of the new Macedonian migration, with which comes the influence of laboratory Macedonianism. Only now and not without the help of the incompetence of a series of Bulgarian governments.
In the period 1853-1912, over 11,000 articles appeared in the American press concerning the problems with Macedonia, none of which mentions “Macedonian“ people, and only for the Bulgarian people, for the Bulgarian Ilinden uprising, for the Bulgarian Gotse Delchev, etc.
At the same time, the Macedonian organization in question is still waiting for a response from Trump. Apparently, these people have reached out to both presidential candidates. It is not excluded that a similar answer will appear and we will follow, but at this moment it is obvious that the policy of the liberal camp is flirting with marginal Skopje claims to rewrite history. And if it is true that a Macedonian is responsible for the connection of the tandem of Harris and Walz with the ethnic communities in the USA, this is another symptom of the bankruptcy of the liberal sector and another sign that the immediate Bulgarian interest is the end of the globalist claim of the Democrats to promote non-believers. Whether it is about an invented, self-imposed and pretentious gender identity, or whether it is about a fabricated national belonging - these are clear symbols of the absurdity in which extreme liberals try to make us live.
The only thing they will achieve with such actions is to turn the descendants of the Macedonian Bulgarians in the USA even more in support of Trump!
Neither the Bulgarian Embassy in the USA, nor the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor the Prime Minister, nor the President reacted to the resulting Macedonian claims, this time across the ocean. Official Sofia should not sleep through such attempts, and the hope is that after November 5, official Washington will show a new path, different from the ridiculous cosmopolitan claim of the Democrats.
