The Patriarchal Holy Liturgy for the Nativity of Christ was celebrated by the Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil in the St. Alexander Nevsky Memorial Church this morning.
"Christ is born, let us glorify Him!", said the Patriarch before the Holy Liturgy.
"We thank God for His great mercy to become man. Something greater than this is that such a dear guest has visited the human race and given us the opportunity to be like Him. Let us know, let us accept what the Lord has brought us, let us learn from the faith, the wisdom of the Holy Mother of God, Saint Joseph the Betrothed, the joy of the angels, the faith of the shepherds, the apostles. Let us be enriched with the love that the Lord has brought us," Patriarch Daniel also stated.
