Bulgaria needs a regular government that will implement policies that support the democratic legal order, the rule of law, the competitiveness of the economy, security, protection and social rights of citizens. For quite some time, the country has been in a political crisis, a crisis of confidence, which can only be overcome by eliminating the systemic prerequisites for unpunished abuse of power. This was stated by the GERB-SDF prime minister candidate Rosen Zhelyazkov.
He thanked GERB's coalition partners - ITN and BSP, as well as the MRF around Ahmed Dogan.
„The main principles that united us in a coalition and the parliamentary majority are the rule of law and equality before the law, strengthening the social state, protection of freedom and pluralism in the media and civil society, effectively operating regulatory and control bodies, efficiency and effectiveness in the provision of public services and the management of public resources, strengthening the direct participation of citizens in state power and local self-government“, noted the prime minister candidate.
