A fire broke out in a residential building on Tsar Simeon Street in Sofia, BTA reports.
The roof space of a three-story house is on fire. Firefighters and police teams are on the scene. The area has been cordoned off.
The Ministry of Interior told BTA that part of the building's roof collapsed in the fire.
There were no deaths or injuries in the incident. Two firefighting teams, an automatic ladder truck and an ambulance were sent to the scene.
The area around the building is heavily smoky, forcing police to expand the initially cordoned off perimeter.
