Göztepe produced an outstanding 4-2 win away to Besiktas despite trailing by two goals in the ninth minute. The team led by Stanimir Stoilov played a very strong match and achieved its first away victory since the beginning of the season, reports sportal.bg.
The match started unpleasantly for Goztepe, who conceded two goals until the ninth minute. Semih Kilchsoy opened the scoring three minutes into the game before Malcom Mputu scored an own goal. However, Stanimir Stoilov's team did not worry and very quickly returned to the game. Mputu got revenge for the own goal and scored in the opponent's goal in the 12th minute. After just over half an hour of play, the visitors equalized after Taha Altikardes headed in Matsuki's cross.
In the second half, Goztepe was waiting for his chance and dealt a heavy blow to the opponent in the 82nd minute. Substitute David Fofana was brought into the opponent's half, dealt with a home defender and sent the ball into the net. Shortly after play resumed, the visitors were a man down after Juan's red card, but they still held on as Besiktas equalised. Goztepe even scored a fourth goal in stoppage time after another substitute, David Tijanic, also scored.
